By accessing or using HiQR (“we,” “us,” or “our”) at hiqr.pages.dev (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
HiQR provides free tools for generating QR codes (including URL, Wi‑Fi, WhatsApp, email, phone, SMS, location, and similar formats). The Service runs primarily in your browser and allows you to customize and download QR codes as PNG or SVG files without requiring an account.
User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content and data you enter into the generator and for any QR codes you create, download, distribute, or use. You must ensure that your use of the Service and of any generated codes complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to create, distribute, or facilitate:
- Malware, viruses, or other harmful software
- Phishing, social engineering, or credential theft
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Illegal content or activities
- Copyright infringement or other intellectual property violations
- Any other harmful, abusive, or unlawful activities
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
Intellectual Property
The HiQR name, logo, branding, website design, and related content are owned by HiQR or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our branding or site content without prior written permission.
QR codes you generate from your own content are yours to use, subject to these Terms and applicable law. We claim no ownership over the data you encode or the resulting code images.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE, OR THAT ANY QR CODE WILL SCAN RELIABLY IN EVERY ENVIRONMENT OR DEVICE.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIQR AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not obligated to maintain any particular feature, format, or availability level. Features listed as “Coming soon” are not guaranteed to be released.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in a manner consistent with the laws of the jurisdiction that reasonably applies, and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence.
